Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre, in collaboration with the International Labour Organization (ILO), and International Training Centre (ITCILO), have launched a new KGRTC website aimed at providing easier access to information about the center's activities and services. The website, which was launched on Friday, January 20, 2023, offers comprehensive information on training programs, events, and other resources available at the center.
The Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre, located in Zambia, provides training and capacity-building services to professionals in the energy sector across the Southern African region. The ILO, a specialized agency of the United Nations, facilitated the development of the website to help the center reach a wider audience and enhance its visibility.
Speaking at the launch event, the Director of Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre, Davies Chinkusu, expressed his gratitude to the ILO for their support in developing the website. He added that the new website will provide a platform for the center to showcase its training programs and services to a wider audience, including professionals and stakeholders in the energy sector.
The launch of the website is expected to increase the center's visibility, enhance its online presence and attract more participants to its training programs. The Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre and the ILO are committed to working together to promote sustainable development and capacity-building in the energy sector across the Southern African region.
