Davies is currently the CEO/Director of KGRTC, a SADC Centre of Excellence specialising in research and the provision of Energy skills for SADC Electricity power utilities and other sectors in the nexus. Davies is a professional Leader and Management strategist. He is a Change manager and certified in Business Process Re-engineering under Prosci-USA. Davies has provided Human Capital leadership and interventions in the Private/Non private sectors at Senior corporate level. He has supported numerous organisations as CEO for EMDC, a Consultancy firm founded in 2010. He worked as Human Resource for Health Specialist (2016-2018) with the Systems for Better Health USAID Project (SBH), providing technical advice to Ministry of Health-Zambia on Human Capital and Management Strengthening innovations. Davies provided leadership as Registrar/CEO of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (2011 to 2015). He reinforced the Institute’s Vision and developed strategies that strengthened its sustainability, visibility and Regulatory role.

Davies is a FELLOW and immediate former Secretary of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management. He attended and completed numerous certified management development programs in UK, Ireland, South Africa, UAE, Sweden and Zambia. Davies spent 18 years in the Human Capital management role with ZESCO Limited, rising to Senior Management level and providing HR strategic leadership overtime. He was part-time MSc. HRM Lecturer at the Graduate school of Business-University of Zambia (2016-2021) and has also been involved in the development of the HR training modules and teaching at ZCAS and Cavendish Universities (2007-2012). Davies has a BA and MA (Labour, Entrepreneurship and Employment) from University of Zambia and the Institute of Social Studies (Holland) respectively with more than 20 years practical Management and leadership experience.
