National Renewable Energy Trainers Network Launched

The #IKI funded #FACE_NDC project has launched the National Renewable Energy Trainers Network. The network has been officially launched by the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment - Zambia , represented by Acting Permanent Secretary Mr. Ronald Simumbwe.

This network is aligned with Zambia’s National Climate Change Learning Strategy (2021–2030), ensuring climate knowledge reaches institutions, industries and communities. It will empower trainers in solar PV, biogas, clean cooking, mini-grids, hydro, bioenergy and energy efficiency, building the green skills needed for our energy transition.

With 44 trainers already certified at Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre  under the #FACE_NDC project, Zambia is set to multiply knowledge, strengthen collaboration and drive sustainable livelihoods.

The #FACE-NDC project is a consortium project under the Ministry of Green Economy and Environment - Zambia  implemented by #FAO, UNESCO , United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) , The University of Zambia -UNZA and The Copperbelt University.
