Kafue Gorge Regional Training Center as signed contracts with ZESCO and Zambeef to provide training to in-service staff of the two companies. The signings will see over 26 courses, Implemented.

The contracts fall under the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority's (TEVETA) Skills Development Fund (SDF), an initiative by TEVETA to provide support for skills development and improved service delivery.

During the signing, Director General of TEVETA Zambia. Mr. Cleophas Takaiza Lamented the under Utilization of the SDF, a fund meant to benefit companies and institutions that contribute funds to the SDF, to receive both off the shelf and tailor made training, suited to their needs, at a subsidized rate of 50% less what they would normally pay with a training partner of their choice.
