Kafue Gorge Regional training center (KGRTC) and ZCAS University today signed an MoU for collaboration in skill training. The MoU which was signed at ZCAS University this afternoon marks a significant step forward in the two institution’s on-going efforts to strengthen ties with academic, industry and professional communities and to foster collaboration that will benefit students, course participants, faculty, and the broader Zambian community.

The KGRTC Director and CEO Mr Davies S. Chinkusu who lead the KGRTC delegation signed on behalf of the Training Centre while the Vice Chancellor Prof Douglas Kunda signed on behalf of ZCAS University.

This collaboration includes staff exchange, joint short programs, collaborative research projects, and more in areas of mutual interest. The MoU, effective for five years, signifies a commitment to excellence in education and development.

KGRTC will benefit from ZCAS University’s expertise in developing and delivering financial and ICT related courses while ZCAS university will benefit from KGRTC continental reputation, clientele, expertise in engineering and developing energy courses in the Renewable Energy Space.

The two institutions are optimistic about this collaboration and are already drafting an implementation plan for 2024.
