Introduction

Course Overview

This course introduces the basics of maintenance and diagnostics of transformers with focus on safe testing, preventive and predictive maintenance of power transformers. The course covers large transformers used in power utilities and other industrial and commercial applications.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide:

  • Participants with the skills needed to maintain and test a power transformer.
