Introduction
Course Overview
This course is designed for the user of vibration analysis or predictive maintenance techniques, or for the individual who wishes to become more familiar with the techniques of vibration. The relationship between the mechanical conditions of machinery is presented and used to show how vibration detection and analysis can be used to identify machinery problems and schedule repairs to avoid costly unplanned stoppages in the equipment
Course Objectives
The objective of this course is to:
· Provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to carry out vibration analysis.
Course Outcomes
At the end of this training programme, course participants shall be able to:
· Explain the role of machinery vibration monitoring in maintenance;
· Explain the basics of vibration;
· Work with vibration instrumentation;
· Identify common machinery faults through vibration monitoring;
