Introduction

Course Overview

The Generator Inspection, Testing and Maintenance course gives participants the technical theory and practice needed to enable them to prepare, plan and conduct inspections, tests and maintenance of generators and their associated equipment in hydropower plants.

Course Objectives

The objective of this course is to provide:

· Provide participants with the knowledge and skills required to inspect, test and maintain hydropower plant generators.

Course Outcomes

At the end of this training programme, course participants shall be able to:

· Explain maintenance principles;

· Plan and schedule generator maintenance activities;

· Carry out generator inspections;

· Carry out generator tests.
