This course gives an overview of earthing, bonding and lightning protection.

The objective of this course is to:

· Provide a practical understanding of earthing, bonding, lightning protection and how to carry out earthing tests.

At the end of this training programme, course participants shall be able to:

· Identify electrical equipment in a substation;

· Improve substation earthing;

· Implement a direct stroke lightning protection system;

· Carry out earthing tests.
