Welcome to the Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre (KGRTC) website. KGRTC is a long established institution for hydro-power training which was rehabilitated and transformed to provide quality training to regional power utilities. The Centre has earned an international reputation in provision of excellent accommodation and conference facilities. The Centre is also ISO 9001:2000 certified for quality training provision. KGRTC has made substantial investment in training aids and simulators. The simulators imitate computerised and conventional hydro-power stations. The Centre has invested in improving the power and water hydraulics laboratories and computer based training facilities.
The Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre has embarked on upgrading its facilities with the help of Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA).
