The Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has recently recognized Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre for its outstanding corporate citizenship by appointing it as a Withholding Turnover Tax (WTOT) Agent. This appointment, effective from December 18, 2023, empowers the Centre to deduct WTOT on payments for goods and services supplied in accordance with the latest amendments to the Income Tax Act.

As the Centre embraces its new role, the process of WTOT deduction is set to commence manually, with plans from ZRA to transition to an automated system.
