The purpose of the programme is to equip the trainee with knowledge, skills and attitudes in Electrical Engineering to enable them perform competently in both the formal and informal sector of the economy.
They will be able to design, Install, supervise, repair and maintain electrical equipment and systems to acceptable and approved standards.

Participants' Profile/Target Group
Direct entry
• The minimum entry requirement is a Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with at least 5 credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and any other subjects
• Craft Cert in Electrical Technology
Mature Age Entry
• A minimum of a level 5 (Technician) certificate in Electrical Technology from any TEVETA-accredited institution.
• Minimum two years’ work experience
