Course Overview
This practical, hands-on programme is for professionals responsible for moving CSR from concept to impact. Participants will gain technical mastery in the full programme lifecycle: from community needs assessment and participatory design, to partnership development, budgeting, and implementation. The course places a strong emphasis on Monitoring & Evaluation, teaching participants how to track progress, measure social outcomes, and report impact effectively to boards, communities, and regulators. Through workshops, case studies, and a structured field visit, participants will learn to design programmes that are not only well-intentioned but also sustainable, measurable, and deeply aligned with community needs.
Course Objectives
- Provides a systematic framework for the entire CSR programme lifecycle
- Equips participants with practical tools for participatory needs assessment and stakeholder analysis
- Develops proficiency in using Theory of Change and Logical Framework approach for programme design
- Explores different partnership models and guides participants in developing effective Memoranda of Understanding
- Builds competence in designing M&E frameworks, selecting indicators, and creating impactful reports for diverse audiences
