Eng. Hamanyanga Martin
Mr. Martin Hantuli Hamanyanga is working as a Senior Consultant in Training and Research at Kafue Gorge Regional Training Centre, which is a Grade One TEVETA institution and recognised as a Centre of Excellence by the Association of Power Utilities in Africa (APUA) and the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
His training experience cuts across electrical power systems operations and maintenance; engineering applications and management; safety, health, environment and quality assurance; corporate governance and leadership development courses.
Martin has been involved in Consultancy and Project management in energy resources, mainly hydropower, solar renewable energies and wind. He has been part of the team that conducted feasibility studies for a 10 Mega Watt hydropower, 7.5 Mega Watt Wind Power, 220 kilowatt Hydropower, a Commissioning Engineer for a 35 kilowatts Mini Solar plant in Serenje in Chief Kabamba’s area and 15 kilowatts Mini Solar projects at KGRTC in Zambia.
Martin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and currently doing his dissertation for his Master of Science in Project Management. He has more than ten (10) years of experience in training services, including training needs assessment, capacity building and skills development.
