KGRTC is governed by a regional Board of Trustees (BOT) with members drawn from Malawi, Eswatini, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The BOT provides policy guidelines on the effective and efficient managing of KGRTC for the satisfaction of all key stakeholders. The BOT meets quarterly in Zambia and once in a quarter in the host country of the non-Zambian Trustees. The BOT functions with four main committees which report to the full BOT. The committees are chaired by Trustees who are all non-Zambian.
